Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded another 523 coronavirus cases and 37 COVID-19 fatalities, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

The new results come from 2,427 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

The Federation entity logged 291 new cases out of 1,730 tests, bringing the coronavirus total to 155,928. With 13 new fatalities confirmed over the past 24 hours, the death toll in this part of the country stands at 6,177.

As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed 212 new cases out of 569 tests performed over the past 24 hours. The coronavirus total in this part of the country is now 78,565 and with 21 new deaths the death toll has reached 4,485.

Brcko District reported 20 new cases out of 128 tests performed and three fatalities. The coronavirus total in Brcko District stands at 7,976 and the death toll at 384.
