In October 2024, Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 182,405 tourist arrivals, reflecting an 11.3% decline compared to September 2024. However, this figure represents a 9.6% increase compared to the same period in October 2023, according to the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tourists achieved a total of 353,001 overnight stays in October 2024, marking a 12.8% decrease from the previous month but a 7.7% rise compared to October 2023. Domestic tourists contributed 28.4% of the total overnight stays, while international visitors accounted for a significant 71.6%.
Foreign tourists demonstrated a strong presence, with the largest number of overnight stays recorded by visitors from Croatia (12.6%), Serbia (11%), Turkey (10.5%), Slovenia (8.4%), China (6.3%), Germany (5.2%), the United States (5%), Italy (3.1%), and Austria and France (2.5% each). Collectively, these countries accounted for 67.1% of all foreign overnight stays, while tourists from other nations comprised the remaining 32.9%.
These figures underscore the sustained appeal of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a destination, despite seasonal fluctuations in tourist activity.
