Bosnia's best middle-distance runner Amel Tuka finished the 800-metre race of Diamond League as the seventh athlete on Saturday, and qualified for the competition finals in Zurich next month.
Tuka ran the distance in 1:45.37 and won two points, securing the spot in the finals as the seventh racer in the Diamond League competition in Paris.
Kenyan Wycliffe Kinyamal was the winner with 1:43.94 time, followed by other Kenyan Cheruiyot Ferguson Rotich (1:44.45) and third Canadian Marco Arop (1:44.74).
The Diamond League finals is scheduled for September 8 and 9 in Zurich.
