The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will as of October 4 until October 31 not be allowed to take non-essential travels to Sweden, Swedish authorities have announced in an update to the travel restrictions during the pandemic.
According to the information shared by the schengenvisa.info website, which cited the Swedish government, Bosnian and Moldovan citizens will be banned entry unless for emergency cases after Sweden excluded these two countries from its COVID-19 exemption list.
“International citizens planning to travel to Sweden from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova from October 4 will be permitted to enter Sweden only if they fall under an exemption category. The exemptions include international citizens who hold a Swedish residence permit, people who need to enter Sweden for any emergency reasons, and those who can present a negative result of the Coronavirus test,” said the website.
The decision will be in force as of October 4 effective until October 31.
