Two children aged 11 and 12, who are relatives of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were evacuated from Gaza, Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday.
After the evacuation, the children were placed with family members in Cairo.
“The children were evacuated last night,” the ministry posted on X social platform.
The ministry also said that the Crisis Team will continue the evacuation activities.
Previously, a total of 36 Bosnian nationals and members of their families were evacuated from Gaza and already arrived in Sarajevo.
Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic said on that occasion that it was not the end of the process and that all those Bosnians in Gaza willing to leave will return to their homes.
