Bosnian ministers consent three agreements ahead of Berlin process summit

F.Z./N1

Bosnian state ministers adopted an information on the need to sign three agreements on free movement of people in the Western Balkans within the Berlin process, and provided consent for all three documents.

This includes the agreement on freedom of movement with identity cards in the Western Balkans, the agreement on the recognition of professional degrees of doctors of medicine, doctors of dental medicine and architects within the Central European Free Trade Agreement, and the agreement on the recognition of higher educational qualification in the Western Balkans.

The Council of Ministers asked the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to give its consent for Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija to attend the Berlin process summit on November 3 and to sign these three documents.

The agreements would then be forwarded for the adoption and ratification as international agreements, in line with the regulations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By signing of these agreements, the Western Balkan leaders will continue strengthening the regional cooperation which is important for daily life of approximately 18 million people in the region, as this will facilitate their travels and create conditions for the increasing mobility of experts, students, scientists and academic staff.
