Bosnian para-swimmer Ismail Barlov wins silver at Singapore world championship

Bosnian para-swimmer Ismail Barlov has won a silver medal in the 50-meter breaststroke at the World Championships in Singapore.

Barlov completed the race in 58.55 seconds, setting both a new personal best and a national record for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the discipline.
The world title went to Mexico’s Jose Arnulfo Castroena Velez, who finished with a time of 57.41 seconds.
This achievement marks another milestone for Barlov, who had previously secured a Paralympic silver medal in Paris, further confirming his consistency on the global stage.

Alongside Barlov, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s delegation at the World Championships also includes swimmer Ismail Zulfic, accompanied by coach Amel Kapo.
