Bosnian politician arrested at Serbia's border crossing

When entering Serbia, a gun was found in Zildzic's car, for which he has a permit in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Faktor news portal learned that Zildzic, a member of the Democratic Action Party (SDA,) went across the border to meet some acquaintances in Bajina Basta, forgetting that he had a weapon in the car.

He was ordered to be detained for one month, the judge of the High Court in Uzice, Zoran Milinkovic, told Oslobodjenje daily.

He is charged with the criminal offence of illegal production, trafficking and carrying of arms. The competent Prosecutor's Office is conducting further investigation into this case, Milinkovic said.
