Bosnia and Herzegovina has one of the best teachers in the world, since Vedran Zubic, a geography professor at the Dobrinja Gymnasium in Sarajevo, is the recipient of the Global Teacher Award for 2022.

Zubic received the award in India and shared the news on social media.

He wrote that it was an emotional moment when he heard his name called out at the awards ceremony.

“You see only one name on this diploma, but I see hundreds because my family, parents, friends, my students and colleagues are there,” he said after receiving the award.
