Bosnian women's team beats Sweden, secures spot in world championship qualifiers

Led by Bahama-born naturalised Bosnian team member Jonquel Jones who scored a total of 34 points, the Bosnians have beaten the Swedish team 82-63.

Nikolina Babic scored 17 points followed by Nikolina Dzebo who logged 10 points.

The Bosnian team's team participation in the EuroBasket 2021 was already dubbed as historic as they achieved the best ranking ever made in the international championships, after advancing from the group stage and losing to France in the quarter-finals.

After the Spanish team lost to Russia in the second game of the day, Bosnian players were ranked as the fifth team of the EuroBasket 2021.
