The 49-year-old referee from Tuzla already refereed several matches of this tournament, including the semifinals in which the United States defeated Australia with a score of 97:78.

For Zurapovic, who has been a FIBA referee since 1995, this is the first time at the Olympic Games.

Zurapovic refereed eight matches at the World Cup in China, held in 2019, including a duel for third place between France and Australia. In February this year, he refereed the final match of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. In addition, he was a referee at eight European Championships.
