The 43rd generation of cadets was promoted to the rank of "police officer" at the Police Academy of Bosnia’s Federation entity Interior Ministry.

Training for the initial rank of “police officer” was successfully completed by 315 participants, of which 37 were from the Interior Ministry of Una-Sana Canton, 131 from Central Bosnia Canton, 17 from Bosnia Podrinje Canton and 130 from Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

On this occasion, the FBiH Minister of the Interior, Ramo Isak, addressed the participants and pointed out that he was proud of the fact that he was sending off the 43rd generation of cadets of the FBiH Police Academy, who chose to serve their society and be on the side of the law.

“I firmly believe that you are the generation that will make us proud and that you will perform your duties conscientiously and responsibly and that you will treat all people equally before the law. Always stick to the letter of the law and work in the interest of all BiH citizens. You are the future police officers who have been entrusted by the people and whom the people trust. It is up to you to preserve and strengthen that trust through your actions,” Minister Isak said.

He then thanked the managers and professional staff of the FMUP Police Academy, as well as the members of the cantonal ministries of the interior, who, through selfless efforts, passed on part of their experience to future police officers.

On behalf of the 43rd generation of cadets for the rank of “police officer”, Nusret Besirevic, acting director of the FMUP Police Academy, addressed the guests, pointing out that he was proud to see off the largest generation of cadets since the establishment of the Academy, 315 of them. He told future police officers to respect the laws and to always be at the service of the citizens.

In addition FMUP representatives, the promotion was attended by representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial authorities and other dignitaries.
