In September 2024, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded exports worth 882.3 million Bosnian marks (€451.2 million), marking a 12.7 percent increase compared to August 2024 but a 6.2 percent drop compared to September 2023.

Imports for September reached 1.64 billion marks (€838.2 million), reflecting a slight decrease of 0.3 percent from August 2024 and 7.2 percent lower than in September 2023.

Between January and September 2024, exports grew at an average monthly rate of 1.02 percent, while imports rose by 0.54 percent on average each month.

The imports-to-exports ratio in September stood at 53.9%, representing a 6.2 percent improvement from August 2024.

According to data from the FBiH Bureau of Statistics, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's trade deficit in September was 755.3 million marks (€385.6 million).

Germany, Croatia, and Austria were the top destinations for FBiH exports, while the largest imports came from Germany, Italy, and China.
