Bosnia's best female swimmer, Lana Pudar, has become the European junior champion in the 100 m butterfly category, as the first competitor who broke a record in this year's European Junior Swimming Championships held in Belgrade.
Pudar finished the race in 56.95 seconds, leaving behind Martine Damborg who finished the second in 58.35 seconds and the third Emmy Hallkvist (59.50 seconds).
The Bosnian broke the record of the European junior championships in this category, which was at 57.39 seconds and was held by Anastasiya Shkurdai from Belarus and dated back to 2019.
Last year Pudar won silver medal in the same competition in Romania, while in 2021 in Rome she also won gold.
