Bosnia's Lana Pudar reaches European Championship semifinals

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s top swimmer Lana Pudar continued her European Championship campaign by reaching the semifinals in the 100m butterfly. Jovan Lekic and Kenan Dracic also competed in the 200m freestyle but did not advance to the next round.

Pudar competed in the fastest qualifying heat, finishing fifth with a time of 58.45 seconds.

After all qualifying heats were completed, the Bosnian swimmer finished 13th overall, securing her place in tonight’s semifinals.

Lana will return to the pool tonight, with the 100m butterfly semifinal scheduled for 6:51 p.m.

Pudar will face another challenge as she bids to finish among the eight best swimmers in Europe and secure a place in the final of the event.

Bosnia and Herzegovina had two more representatives in the pool today. Jovan Lekic and Kenan Dracic competed in the 200m freestyle qualifiers.

Lekic finished his race in 1:48.54, placing 41st overall.

Dracic recorded a time of 1:50.09, finishing the qualifiers in 56th place.
