Bosnia’s Presidency Chairman, Zeljko Komsic, sent a note to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani on Tuesday congratulating Kosovo Independence Day.

“I wish all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and you personally, on my behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a happy Independence Day,” Komsic wrote, praising the improvement of relations between BiH and Kosovo.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo share common strategic foreign policy priorities, which are membership in NATO and the European Union. Only together and in cooperation with partners who share the same values, we can reach our goal,” Komsic’s note said.

Bosnia and Herzegovina never recognised Kosovo as an independent state due to internal disagreement on the issue.
