Bosnia's RS entity adopts budget for 2023

The National Assembly of Bosnia's Republika Srpska (RS) entity adopted the entity budget for 2023 in the amount of 5.3 billion Bosnian marks, which is a 19.4 percent increase compared to the second rebalancing of the Budget for 2022.

The RS Assembly stated that the budget was adopted under an urgent procedure, in order to enable the timely financing of public servants, as well as fulfilling all the obligations prescribed by law and other legal acts in the entity.

Previously, the MPs discussed a proposal for a program of economic reforms in Republika Srpska for the period 2023 - 2025, also under urgent procedure.
