At only 12 years old, Ismail Barlov became the first athlete from Bosnia and Herzegovina to swim the A norm for the Paralympic Games in Paris next year.
The BiH representative and member of the SPID Swimming Club from Sarajevo won a silver medal in Limoges and a valuable pass for Paris in the 50-meter breaststroke event at the World Paraswimming Series on Saturday.
A day earlier, at the meeting of the World Paraswimming Series in Limoges, Ismail Barlov also swam the A norm for the World Championship in Manchester in the 150-meter mixed discipline.
