Radovan Kovacevic, the spokesperson of the ruling political party in Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity and advisor to BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, was reported to Bosnia’s Prosecutor’s Office for denying the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide.

The criminal complaint was submitted by the chief inspector of the police of the other semi-autonomous entity, the Federation (FBiH), Ibro Beslija, based on the ban on war crimes and genocide denial imposed by the former High Representative in the country in July.

It says that the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) spokesperson committed the crime when he was interviewed by the FBiH public broadcaster on September 6.
