Consumer prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded a 0.2% increase in October compared to the previous month, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
On average, prices rose for food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.8%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.2%, clothing and footwear by 1.6%, health by 0.5%, education by 0.4%, restaurants and hotels by 0.4%, and other goods and services by 0.3%.
Lower prices were recorded for housing and utilities by 0.8%, furniture and household maintenance by 0.2%, and transport by 0.2%.
On an annual level, prices in October increased by 0.9% compared to October last year. Food and non-alcoholic beverages were 3.4% more expensive, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 4.5%, health by 4%, communications by 0.2%, recreation and culture by 3%, education by 0.4%, restaurants and hotels by 6.7%, and other goods and services by 3.9%.
The average decline in prices was recorded in clothing and footwear by 7.9%, housing and utilities by 1.1%, furniture and household maintenance by 0.4%, and transport by 6.6%.
