Covic mentioned that he has reviewed a draft of the Election Law amendments prepared by the "Troika," but indicated that this proposal will not be considered; instead, the one already in procedure will be discussed.

"This is one of those solutions you've already heard about through the media, where you have technical changes, Central Election Commission, the Presidency of BiH, and we'll see to what extent we can adopt it in the Council of Ministers," said Covic on the sidelines of the Mostar Security Forum.

He reminded that at the last meeting of state-level government partners, it was agreed that within 15 days, Parliament should try to adopt amendments to the Election Law to address the decisions imposed by the High Representative.

"If we keep our focus on electoral legislation and the need to try to achieve what we all want - to find solutions with domestic forces, one of the key areas is electoral legislation," he stated.
