Croatian Interior MInister promises help for Bosnia's demining efforts

“Several months ago, a member of Bosnia’s Parliamentary Assembly Darija Filipovic initiated talks on how experience, knowledge and capacities which Croatia gained through its own demining process can be made available to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We did the preparations, coordinations at various levels and during today’s meeting with Bosnia’s Civil Affairs Minister Dubravka Bosnjak, and Darija Filipovic, we agreed on further steps and cooperation”, Bozinovic said.

He recalled that Croatia cuccessfully completed its demining process in March of this year.

“We know how important this is and we want to share this experience with Bosnia and Herzegovina through transfer of knowledge, technical support and engagement of our experts. Human safety knows no borders and its projects like this one that valuable the cooperation between Bosnia and Croatia is to the people that live here,” the Croatian Minister noted.
