Croatia’s Plenkovic to visit BiH with EU's Ursula Von der Leyen next week

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced his arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Wednesday.

He spoke with his Bosnian counterpart Borjana Kristo and after the meeting, he wrote on X that he is coming to BiH next week together with the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.

“Croatia strongly supports BiH's European path and advocates for the opening of accession negotiations with the EU as soon as possible,” Plenkovic wrote.

He also spoke with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The Croatian Prime Minister stated that they talked about bilateral relations and the situation in Serbia after the elections.

He also spoke with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

Previously, Von der Leyen announced she would come to BiH on January 22, the reason for the visit is not officially known at the moment.
