Ilija Cvitanović, President of HDZ 1990 and delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told N1 that everyone in the country, including in the entity of Republika Srpska, will participate in the upcoming elections under the current Election Law of BiH, partially imposed by the High Representative, Christian Schmidt.
He said that this would be Schmidt's recognition by the authorities in RS.
“The Bosniak Caucus invoked vital national interest (against the RS election law), you know what will probably happen? The Constitutional Court of RS will for the first or the second time acknowledge the vital interest of Bosniaks to save Dodik,” Cvitanovic assessed.
Cvitanovic also spoke about the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, concluding that “this document will be adopted and forgotten in 15 days.” He reminded that this resolution “does not produce any legal consequences” and therefore “nothing will change, everything will remain the same.”
