Decline in employment numbers continues across FBiH

Official statistics indicate a steady decrease in the workforce over the past several months based on the employees' place of residence.

The data reveals that as of December 31, 2025, there were 545,409 registered employees. By the end of January 2026, this figure dropped to 542,373.

The decline persisted into February 2026, with the number of employed individuals falling further to 542,080, as confirmed by the Tax Administration’s latest report.
