Republika Srpska passed a responsible law related to the protection of its right, said the president of Bosnia's Serb-majority entity Milorad Dodik, stressing that this decision stopped the practice of “trying to establish a political system that is anti-constitutional through speculations."

Dodik addressed media two days after the entity parliament of Republika Srpska passed law amendments, stipulating that no decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be implemented on the territory of Republika Srpska.

The decision was met with harsh criticism of a part of the international community, while Bosniak Caucus announced it would veto this law at the RS Council of Peoples.

According to Dodik, the law will be in force until a law on Bosnia's Constitutional Court, which will define its mode of action, is passed.

He called all the reactions, including those coming from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation entity, “senseless, crazy and stupid.”

“I understand that in Federation they have their own position, as do the foreigners, but they have to understand that we don't have to be silent because of their rudeness,” stressed Dodik.

He deems that the Bosniaks, whom he called Muslims, are satisfied with the current functioning of the Constitutional Court, claiming that two judges are from the Bosniak-dominant political party SDA and three are the foreigners “who are conspiring around Sarajevo to harm Republika Srpska.”

“They say that the Constitutional Court must be respected, yes, a normal Constitutional Court must be respected, this one does not,” he said.

Also, Dodik lashed out again at High Representative Christian Schmidt, reiterating his stance that Schmidt was not a legal representative of the international community and that his decisions will not be respected in Republika Srpska.

“The RS demands that it is done according to the letter of the Constitution, and not according to the imposed solutions that they invented. Republika Srpska is not implementing the secession plan, but if the RS is forced to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina for their decisions, it will happen,” he underlined.
