The President of Bosnia’s Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, said Friday he filed a complaint with the BiH Prosecutor’s Office against himself and the RS political leadership for adopting the Law on Non-Enforcement of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in that entity.

“Since no one from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has done this yet, I decided to file a complaint with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina today against Zeljka Cvijanovic, Radovan Viskovic, Nenad Stevandic and myself because we supported the adoption of the Law on Non-Enforcement of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republika Srpska,” Dodik tweeted.

“I also filed a complaint against all MPs who voted for the adoption of the Law, as well as against all the signatories of the academic community's petition expressing dissatisfaction with the work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” he added.

”The hatred and hysteria from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is directed against the Republika Srpska, is becoming unbearable. Since we plan to pass a law by which the decisions of the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be enforced in the Republika Srpska, with this complaint we will not be exempted from prosecution before the BiH Prosecutor's Office,” Dodik concluded.

On Thursday, Dodik addressed the media regarding the latest developments in connection with the adoption of the said Law in the RS parliament.

“The Law on Non-Enforcement of the Decisions of the Constitutional Court is final until the Law on the BiH Constitutional Court is passed, which will define its mode of action. So, as far as the reactions to all that are concerned, we hear those from the FBiH, we hear the threats and seven-day deadlines. It's all senseless, crazy and stupid. I understand that in the FBiH they have their own position, as do foreigners, but they must understand that we do not have to remain silent because of their rudeness,” Dodik said.
