The Germanic world that used to attack Serbs is sending the illegitimately appointed High Representative to BiH whom the Republika Srpska (RS) entity would not accept, the Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency Milorad Dodik said Saturday.

“Once again the Germanic world, which used to attack Serbs, is are sending a High Representative who was appointed illegitimately. The Republika Srpska will not accept him,” Dodik said, adding that the Serb people have always stood on the right side of history, from the Battle of Kosovo to the last wars in the region.

“Serbs have never had a dilemma to oppose empires,” Dodik pointed out noting the need to preserve the RS.
He mentioned that the destruction of Serbs was one of the goals of the Independent State of Croatia, a World War II-era puppet state of Nazi Germany.

The Serb Presidency member added that “Serbs, like some other peoples here, could have been less proud and less opposed, but then they would not have been Serbs.”

Dodik concluded that the RS entity is doing well. That it is stable, developing and that it is committed to peace. But that “it will not disappear in order (for BiH) to enter the EU.”

The Peace Implementation Council (PIC), which oversees Bosnia’s peace process, formally appointed German politician Christian Schmidt to serve as the next High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the international official monitoring the civilian implementation of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement.
