The President of BiH's Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, met in Moscow with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
After visiting Belgrade and then Tel Aviv, Dodik arrived in Moscow. The President of Republika Srpska has been moving freely in recent days, despite the fact that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a central arrest warrant for him.
Now, RTRS reports that Dodik met with Putin. He began his visit to Moscow by paying tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in honor of the 28 million Russians who perished in World War II. The news of the meeting between Putin and Dodik was also reported by Sputnik and Srna.
Dodik previously stated that, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he would return to Moscow on May 9 to attend the 80th anniversary celebration of the victory over fascism.
The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is conducting an investigation against Dodik on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of attacking the constitutional order.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has requested the issuance of an international arrest warrant, and a response from Interpol is still pending.
