The President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, said that the RS Government will hold a session on May 2, in Srebrenica, where the entire entity leadership will be present and, if given the opportunity, they will also take flowers at Potocari.

Dodik said that Republika Srpska will not accept the UN Resolution on Srebrenica that will be adopted at the UN General Assembly, because “everything written in it is a lie”.

He pointed out that for this reason, the RS has no intention of putting the imposed story of genocide in school textbooks, nor will it mark that day as others want them to but it is ready to invite Bosniaks to live in peace.

“However, Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot live on the basis that one ethnicity is qualified as genocidal, and the other as victorious,” said Dodik.

Dodik stated that the RS does not renounce Srebrenica as its local community and accepts the events that took part in that place in 1995 are a crime.

“If we are given the opportunity on May 2, we will take the wreaths to Potocari if it does not offend anyone. I'm not afraid that I could end up like the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who came to pay his respects to the victims, express his condolences, and was hit in the head with a stone, and no one was held accountable for it,” Dodik said.
