BiH tripartite Presidency member, Milorad Dodik, said that representatives of the country’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity will attend state institutions sessions to discuss matters concerning the RS but stressed that the efforts to transfer comopetencies from the state to the entity will continue.

Dodik's statements came after he met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who asked for RS representatives to return to the BiH institution.

Dodik said RS political leadership will continue its process of withdrawing from state institutions and establishing its own, separate ones, arguing that this will not endanger Bosnia’s territorial integrity.

Dodik criticized the international official overseeing the civilian implementation of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement, High Representative Christian Schmidt, as well as US Special envoy Gabriel Escobar.

“We have also seen what is falsely called the High Representative saying things in a weeping tone these days,” Dodik said of Schmidt, arguing that the German politician is falsely presenting himself as the High Representative.

He called Schmidt a “loser” and said that the fact he was sent to Bosnia is shameful for Germany.

As for Escobar, Dodik said he knows him personally.

“I think he has the potential to order someone to be liquidated,” Dodik said.
