BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik believes that the European Commission is ready to divide Bosnia and that this is shown by the condition for the unblocking of € 600 million for the construction of part of the Corridor Vc through the Republika Srpska (RS) entity a solution to the political crisis in BiH.

“Why didn't they block the section from Sarajevo to Ploce (Croatia), because there has been no government there for four years and there is a crisis of unprecedented proportions because Bosniaks and Croats can’t live together? They didn’t solve anything, not even the Electoral Law issue, and they didn’t block their funds. This shows that they are ready to divide BiH and I have nothing against that,” said Dodik.

He told reporters in Klasnice near Laktas that the RS is working hard on an agreement with a Chinese company to whom the concession for the Corridor Vc section from Doboj to Vukosavlj will be given and that this will be done.

“We have three Chinese companies that are interested in this business and we will choose the best framework, and that is better than getting loans from the European Commission and then having them condition us,” said Dodik, answering a journalist's question about allegations from the European Commission that in order to unblock the € 600 million for the construction of a section of the Vc Corridor through the RS the political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina must be resolved.
