BiH Presidency member, Milorad Dodik, welcomed Serbia’s President, Aleksandar Vucic, at an event in the Bosnian town of Bijeljina with the words: “Mr. President of Serbia, Mr. Vucic, welcome to your own and among your own."
At the ceremony marking the Day of Serbian Unity and the start of the construction of the Bijeljina-Raca highway section, Dodik thanked Vucic for his support and Serbia’s investments in the RS.

“I am rarely impressed by some things, but when we talked about this two years ago and many projects in the RS, your easy agreement to help the RS often ended my desire to ask for more. Thank you for opening up such possibilities for us in the future as well,” said Dodik.
He asked for consent from Vucic to name the section of the highway the “Road of Serbian Unity”.
Dodik announced that this road will go further to Prijedor and Novi Grad and that negotiations are ongoing for the construction of an expressway from Bijeljina, via Zvornik to Sokolac.
