Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said that the Austrian journalists who followed the recent panel discussion on Bosnia and Herzegovina were more interested in his friendly relationship with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin than Bosnia's European path, which was the topic of the discussion, but that he conveyed a clear position to them that Republika Srpska (Bosnia's Serb-majority entity) and Russia traditionally have good relations and that it will be so in the future.

“When the war in Ukraine ends, I won't be able to get my turn to see President Putin because of the Europeans who will then want to meet him at the Kremlin. This was my answer to the Austrian journalists who followed the panel discussion at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna,” Republika Srpska president wrote on Instagram.

He also said that he reiterated during the event that Republika Srpska expects “that after March 21, BiH will cease to be a colony of international administration, that on the same day, in accordance with European standards, the false high representative will disappear and that foreign judges will leave the Constitutional Court of BiH.”
