The "deadline" that the President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik "gave" to the Constitutional Court of BiH to withdraw their decisions, expired Friday at noon. There was no reaction, but the announcement of the session of the of RS National Assembly Board.
“The RS National Assembly Speaker. Nenad Stevandic, convened a session of the Board for Monday, June 26, 2023, in the premises of the parliament, starting at 10 am. The proposal for the session agenda consists of the Determination of the proposal for the agenda and the date of the Eighth Special Session of the National Assembly of the RS and misc,” reads the RS parliament's statement.
RS President Milorad Dodik said earlier that “an RS National Assembly session will be scheduled at which a law will be passed on the termination of the validity and publication of the decisions of that Court in the RS and the protection of persons who will be persecuted because of it by the BiH authorities.”
“We will pass that law very quickly, without any problems, maybe as early as Tuesday, June 27 and continue our further political struggle,” said Dodik.
