Mark Rutte, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, commenced his two-day working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina paying respects to the genocide victims at the Potocari Memorial Centre.
Rutte laid flowers and paid respects to the genocide victims in company of Dutch ambassador to BiH Henk van den Dool.
He also met with representatives of the victim associations and the Srebrenica Memorial Centre.
“In memory of all victims of the genocide. We stand with the survivors. We never, ever forget what happened. Rest in peace,” Rutte wrote in the book of condolences.
Dutch PM is staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday and Tuesday, where he will hold a series of meetings with the senior officials, alongside European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Croatian PM Andrej Plenkovic.
