The blockade of BiH state institutions must not be continued and they must function, the Bosniak member of the tripartite Presidency Sefik Dzaferovic said after the meeting between all three Presidency members and the US Department of State Counselor Derek Chollet on Tuesday afternoon.
According to him, the meeting concluded with an important message for the BiH institutions:
“Further blockades of BiH institutions is not possible and must not be allowed. They must function and we need to resolve all our issues regarding the EU accession path, the reform programme and everything else we face within those institutions – the BiH Presidency and the Council of Ministers,” Dzaferovic said.
He also noted that BiH Presidency members received a letter from the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“In it, he says the US remains committed to BiH and it will continue working with our friends so we could overcome the current crisis we’re in,” the Bosniak Presidency member concluded.
