Elektroprivreda BiH regains control of disputed Mostar hydroelectric power plant
Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda BiH has confirmed that five cadastral municipalities, which had been transferred to the ownership of PE Elektroprivreda HZHB following previous actions by the Mostar City Administration, have now been officially returned to the possession of 'Hidroelektrane na Neretvi'. This correction was verified through an inspection of the land registry held by the Federation (FBiH) entity’s Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs.
The reversal in the land registry follows urgent legal measures initiated by PE Elektroprivreda BiH immediately after it discovered that the ownership of these assets had been altered in favour of PE Elektroprivreda HZHB.
In an official statement, the company expressed its confidence that the ongoing legal proceedings will continue to be conducted in strict accordance with established regulations. PE Elektroprivreda BiH also noted that it expects to be formally notified through the timely delivery of official resolutions regarding the restoration of its possessory rights.
