Entity inspection administrations launch coordinated effort in Bosnia to boost oversight

During the meeting, concrete modalities for cooperation and the coordination of inspection activities in BiH were agreed upon, confirming a shared commitment to building a more comprehensive, efficient, and higher-quality inspection supervision system, as announced by the FBiH Administration for Inspection Affairs.

"Our mission is clear, to ensure an efficient, transparent, and professional inspection service in Bosnia and Herzegovina, harmonized with modern standards. Through intense cooperation between our institutions, the exchange of experience, and coordination, we are creating the prerequisites for inspections to be a strong pillar of legal certainty and a key tool in the fight against crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina. With shared resolve, we are effectively continuing the fight against all forms of non-compliance with regulations starting today," stated Ivana Prvulovic, Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs.

Milovan Krco, Director of the Republika Srpska Administration for Inspection Affairs, welcomed the initiative and expressed readiness for cooperation between the entity inspections within their legally prescribed competencies, especially concerning issues of shared interest.

"The priority of the inspections is to ensure a good business environment, and regular direct cooperation between the chief inspectors of the Republika Srpska Administration for Inspection Affairs and the FBiH Administration for Inspection Affairs at the operational level is a prerequisite for quick response and the efficiency of our inspections," Director Krco noted.
