Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) electrical assembly teams have successfully repaired 2,318 faults on the distribution network and facilities between the start of heavy snowfall on Sunday, January 4, and the early morning hours of January 11. Through exceptional effort, high expertise, and dedicated work, these teams have made a maximum contribution to maintaining the stability of the electric power system.
Despite the continuous emergence of new faults and the unpredictability of weather conditions, swift reaction and coordination ensured that even during the most critical moments, only about 5% of customers were without electricity. This figure is relative to the total customer base of EPBiH, which exceeds 822,000.
The EPBiH Communications Service issued a statement thanking citizens for their understanding, patience, and selfless support. The company also extended its gratitude to business entities that contributed significantly to overcoming the consequences of the storm by activating their human resources and machinery to assist the EPBiH teams.
