Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens for the help they provided and solidarity they showed after the earthquake that recently hit Turkey. In a meeting with Bosnia Presidency member Zeljko Komsic in Istanbul on Friday, Erdogan stressed that Bosnia is a small country that demonstrated a high degree of solidarity with the Republic of Turkey.
Komsic emphasised the unity of Bosnian citizens in the commitment and intention to offer assistance to those affected by in the earthquake.
The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be available to the institutions of the Republic of Turkey and its citizens during the recovery, he added.
The officials also discussed political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with special emphasis on the implementation of election results.
They agreed that the bilateral cooperation between the two countries is at an exceptionally friendly level, and expressed mutual belief that the cooperation between Bosnia and Turkey will improve in the future.
