According to sources, she is scheduled to meet with members of the Joint Collegium of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH on the morning of September 24, after which she will address MPs and delegates of the state parliament.
However, lawmakers from the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) announced they will boycott the meeting.
“We respect the visit itself, but we remain consistent in our position that such addresses should not become a practice in BiH institutions,” SNSD MPs said in a statement.

No further details about her itinerary or planned meetings have been released.
Kos’ visit comes at a time of deep political turbulence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The country recently lost additional funding from the EU Growth Plan, the ruling coalition at the state level has collapsed, and progress towards EU accession has stalled. Politicians and ministers from SNSD and its coalition partners in Republika Srpska have openly declared their opposition to EU membership.
Meanwhile, the dismissed president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who has been convicted in a final verdict, has not stepped down. Instead, he appointed a new RS government following the resignation of former Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic.
In an interview with N1 Slovenia recorded in March, before Dodik’s final conviction, Kos said that Dodik would not be a partner in future talks on solutions for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Commenting on him, she described him as “a politician with secessionist ambitions, opposed to European integration, who does not respect the order established by the Dayton Peace Agreement and claims powers that do not belong to him.”
