EU Special Representative Johann Sattler thanked Bosnia's Security Minister Selmo Cikotic on Friday for presenting him the instructions regarding the country's cooperation with Europol, stressing that this was a good example of compromise between the state and entity levels of authority.

Cikotic presented the ambassador with official instructions operationalising BiH's cooperation with Europol.

It took a long time to solve the issue of cooperation with this European institution through an agreement between the state and entity levels of authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Sattler, noting that the matter has been ultimately solved.

“How? Political will & compromise. A good example of what is possible in BiH,” he added.
