European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi and foreign ministers of the Western Balkan countries discussed on Friday the final steps for the planned delivery of coronavirus vaccines for the region.
Bosnian FM Bisera Turkovic also took part in the virtual meeting.
“This morning I discussed with Oliver Varhelyi, together with colleagues from the region, the final steps for the planned delivery of coronavirus vaccines. The European Union has provided significant quantities of vaccines to the Western Balkans, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is very important step for us,” said Turkovic.

Commissioner Varhelyi said the vaccines will help the countries to vaccinate their medical workers and vulnerable groups.
“We continue to stand by our partners. We care,” he said.
