FBI SWAT teams conduct advanced tactical training for Bosnia police forces

The United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that from January 26 to January 30, special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), including members of their Specialized Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams, provided advanced tactical training to police units in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The training program was attended by personnel from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Ministries of Interior of both the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, as well as the Brcko District Police.
According to the official statement, the objective of this initiative is to strengthen the operational capabilities of local law enforcement through the exchange of expert knowledge and experience. The curriculum focused particularly on the fields of combating organized crime and narcotics smuggling.

The Embassy emphasized that these activities are part of long-term cooperation between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the sectors of security and the rule of law. This partnership continues under the administration of incumbent US President Donald Trump, focusing on regional stability and law enforcement excellence.
