FBiH Interior Minister condemns threats sent to Sarajevo Mayor

"Police officers of the Federation entity Police Administration (FUP) are actively working on the case related to the threats that Amir Gross Kabiri sent to the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic. I am convinced that the FUP police officers will take actions within their jurisdiction professionally, responsibly and quickly, in order to prevent unacceptable abuse and insults to which the Mayor of the BiH capital is exposed," Isak said.

He then added:

"Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital - especially taking into account the historical context - will never be on the wrong side of history, and foreign citizens like Amir Gross Kabiri should be well aware that they are only guests in our country and that they must behave in accordance with laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I give full support to the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, in clearly expressing her views, humanity, but also the courage she showed," Minister Isak stated.
