FBiH Parliament confirms US consortium’s lead in Southern Interconnection pipeline

Delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) entity gave the "green light" on Wednesday during an extraordinary session to crucial amendments of the Law on the Southern Interconnection, facilitating the construction of a strategic gas pipeline. With 61 votes in favour, one abstention, and three against, this move allows the FBiH to chart a course toward total energy independence while appointing an American consortium as the lead investor.
