The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Niksic, underwent surgery today at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. He was hospitalized earlier due to abdominal pain and was diagnosed with acute gangrenous perforated appendicitis, necessitating immediate surgical treatment.
Niksic’s condition is stable following the procedure, and he is reported to be feeling well. His recovery will proceed under the guidance of medical professionals.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to his official duties after completing his recovery.
