In October 2024, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved exports valued at 1.006 billion BAM, representing a 14.1% increase compared to September 2024 and a 7.3% rise compared to October 2023.

Imports in October 2024 reached 1.71 billion BAM, up by 9.4% compared to September and 4.3% higher than in October 2023.

From January to October 2024, average monthly export growth was 2.26%, while imports grew by 1.39% per month. The export-import coverage ratio for October stood at 56.2%, which is 2.3% higher than in September.

The trade deficit for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2024 was 784.6 million BAM, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

Germany, Croatia, and Austria were the top destinations for exports from the Federation of BiH, while imports mainly came from Italy, Germany, and China.
