Federation of BiH reports average net salary of 1,622 Bosnian marks for November 2025

On an annual basis, the average net salary for November 2025 was nominally 15.8% higher and 11.2% higher in real terms compared to the same month in the preceding year.

The statistics reveal that the most significant increases in net salaries compared to October 2025 occurred in administrative and support service activities (3.3%), public administration and defense, including compulsory social security (3.1%), and other service activities (2.7%).

Conversely, the largest decreases were recorded in human health and welfare work activities, which saw a drop of 7.9%. Other notable declines were found in agriculture, forestry, and fishing (6.4%), as well as in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (5.7%).

The average monthly paid gross salary for November 2025 was 2,534 marks (approximately €1,296). This figure is nominally 0.6% lower and real 1.0% lower than in October. Compared to November of the previous year, the average gross salary rose nominally by 16.1% and 11.6% in real terms.

Regarding employment figures, the Federation of BiH recorded a total of 546,635 employed persons in November 2025, marking a slight decrease of 0.1% compared to the previous month.
